" 'It has been miserable since they left, we loved having them around,' said Lady Saye and Sele. 'We know them all so well now and we had such a good time.'
"The afternoon party marked the end of the £1 million plus project in June but the group has pledged to remain firm friends.
"Foreman Peter Hillman of PR Allcock Builders in Castle Street, Banbury, said: 'This has been in a better class than our ordinary run of the mill jobs.
" 'I will miss the class of the work and the class of the company - they have made us very welcome and I intend to keep in contact.' "
