Banbury Upper School staged this open air production of Twelfth Night, directed by teacher Brian Derbyshire. The production was "well-timed and extremely funny" but "as the hour drew later, raincoats and blankets proved the absolute necessities for the audience", the Banbury Guardian reported. Suzanne Alford played Viola; her twin sister, Jan, played Viola's twin brother Sebastian; Jane Marshall played Countess Olivia; Paul Goldsmith played Malvolio ("outstanding performance" said the Guardian")
